In no particular order, jacqueline (b. 2000, Beijing) is a lover, a semiotician, a poet, a research-based artist, a restaurant goer, and a tourist based in waiting rooms.

She reenacts situations in iterations, translating each into text, video, installation, image, object, sound, and electronics. She’s interested in dignifying the small failure of mimicry, the almost, and the inexhaustible chain of resemblance. She knows feeling itself now arrives pre-branded, memory perpetually retrieved at one remove, but goes on and rents all such tepid grounds found in between something and something, and furnishes them as if they are homes.
